It had been too long since Brian had had a proper fuck. Ever since Ethan had assaulted him, his body had been sensitive to too much movement. Not to say that it stopped him, but it was a far cry from his usual activity. Finally, though, he was able to move about without the slight twinge of pain in his side and he fully intended to act on it. He’d gone straight home from work on Friday evening to find Justin, and they hadn’t left the loft since.
They’d fucked on every surface, horizontal and vertical, only stopping for food, showers, and sleep. He had turned off the loft phone, and after they got dinner, he made sure to turn down the volume on the downstairs buzzer. He didn’t want any interruptions for anything. He knew that if there were an emergency, Ted would be able to reach him.
The late afternoon sun was shining through the loft, as Brian slowly pushed into Justin, savoring the tightness and warmth that greeted him. He hissed with pleasure as Justin wrapped his legs around him, drawing his closer. He twined his fingers with Justin’s, moving his body forward in quick short thrusts. His breath quickened as Justin clenched around his dick.
Justin moaned as Brian leaned down and kissed a trail up his neck. Brian’s lips found his and he opened his mouth eagerly, their tongues dueling for dominance. He hissed with pleasure as Brian started to hit his prostate with each thrust. He knew it wouldn’t be long before he came.
Brian reached between them, grasping Justin’s leaking cock in his hand, stroking it in time with his thrusts. He felt Justin arch beneath him, coming quickly. With one final thrust he came, and fell on top of Justin, his breathing ragged.
Brian ran his fingers through Justin’s hair as he kissed the back of the blond’s neck. He pulled out slowly and tied off the condom up before tossing it in the trash. His arm found its way around Justin’s waist, and as he started to drift off to sleep, a loud banging on the loft door broke him out of his haze.
Justin propped himself up on his elbows and watched as Brian pulled on a pair of jeans and headed to the door.
Brian silently cursed whoever was on the other side of the door. Besides him and Justin, only Ted, the downstairs tenants and their guests had access to the building, and they knew better to bang on his door. He pulled open the door and was surprised to see Lindsay, holding Gus, on the other side.
“Lindsay,” he said, stepping aside so she could enter. He closed the door and turned the volume back up on the intercom.
“Hey, Brian,” Lindsay said. “I’m not interrupting anything am I?” She took notice of his disheveled hair and sweaty chest.
“Whatever gave you that impression?” Brian asked sarcastically.
Upon hearing voices, Justin quickly went to the bathroom to clean the cum off his chest and got dressed. When he arrived in the living room he noticed that Brian had also put on a shirt.
“Justin,” Lindsay said, her voice overly cheerful. “I didn’t know you were here.”
“Hey, Lindsay.” Justin smiled and sat next to Brian on the sofa. “Hi, Gus.”
“Hi, Justin,” the little boy said quietly, resting his head against his father’s chest.
“So, Lindz, how exactly was it that you got in?” Brian asked.
“Oh, you know…” Lindsay said as she cut up some veggies for Gus to snack on. “I just used my key.”
“I changed my code downstairs,” Brian informed her. “It was the same day I had the new lock put on.”
“Oh,” Lindsay said, putting the plate in front of Gus.
“Well?” Brian started at her expectantly.
“I might have convinced someone to let me in the building,” Lindsay answered. She continued when Brian raised his eyebrow questioningly at her. “I tried calling you, but you wouldn’t pick up on your cell or here. And when I got here, I tried the call button downstairs, again no answer. What was I supposed to do? It’s freezing outside, and you know Gus just got over a cold.”
Brian rubbed the side of his nose and took a deep breath. “So, what brought on this impromptu visit?”
“Well, Melanie had to go into the office today. Some big case she’s working on needed her attention,” Lindsay answered. “And Gus wanted to come over, too.”
Brian nodded and turned his attention back to Gus.
“So Justin, how’s school going? Are you working on any more big projects?”
“School is good,” Justin answered. “I have one more big project for my final, but it shouldn’t be too hard.”
“You should be starting an internship soon, right?” Lindsay asked. “Have you gotten all your applications in?”
“Yeah. Right now I’m just waiting for them to call me back. I’m not really expecting anything for another couple weeks though.”
“Have you decided what classes you’re gonna take next semester?”
“I’m not sure, but I’ll probably only take a couple since I’ll be doing the internship.”
“That sounds like a good idea.” Lindsay nodded. She turned to Brian and asked. “So what about Kinnetik? Are you offering internships to students?”
“If they apply and they’re good enough, sure,” Brian answered.
They talked more about school and art until Lindsay excused herself to go to the bathroom.
“I’m hungry, Daddy,” Gus said, pulling on his dad’s jeans.
“Did you finish your snack?” Brian looked down at his son.
Gus scrunched up his face and shook his head. “I want pizza.”
“We’ll have to ask your mom first.”
Gus ran to the bathroom and knocked his small hands on the door. “Mommy, Mommy, can we get pizza?”
The door opened seconds later and Lindsay led Gus back to the living room. “What’s this about pizza?”
“Don’t look at me,” Brian said, holding his hands up.
“I guess that’ll be fine,” Lindsay said, smiling at Gus’ pleading eyes. “Let me call Mel and tell her we won’t be home for dinner.”
Brian ordered a large cheese pizza and two salads. “Food should be here in about 30 minutes,” he said, hanging up his cell phone.
“I see you’ve pretty much gotten everything replaced,” Lindsay observed. “It doesn’t even look like the place was robbed.”
“That was the idea,” Brian said. “I think the only change is the light above the bed.”
“Oh, I didn’t even notice,” Lindsay said, peering into the bedroom again. “You didn’t want to replace the blue lights?”
“I was going to, but someone,” Brian said, looking at Justin. “Told me that orange is the new blue. Everyone says so.”
Justin smiled and shook his head.
“I remember when you got those blue lights. Just about every guy on Liberty Avenue was talking about them.”
“That they were,” Brian said.
Gus had apparently found the remote to the TV, because he had plopped himself in front of it and was watching a rerun of one of his favorite cartoons.
“Have either of you had anymore problems with that boy? Ethan, was it?”
“Not recently,” Justin answered. “He still lurks and follows me around campus, but he’s been keeping his distance.”
“That’s a relief. It’s such a shame that the police won’t do anything about him.”
“That’s Stockwell for you,” Justin sighed.
The buzzer rang signaling the arrival of their food.
Lindsay watched, amazed, at the way Brian and Justin worked together, getting everything out. It was like they could tell what the other one needed without having to ask. She pulled Gus away from the TV and sat him down at the table.
Brian handed Justin the Ranch dressing that came with his salad, and rolled his eyes when Justin took a new bottle out of the fridge.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Justin finished most of the pizza and was wrapping up the leftovers when his cell phone rang. He looked at the Caller ID and smiled. “Hey Daph.”
“Justin…” Daphne said, a mysterious tone in her voice.
“Yea-a-h?”
“Is there something you’re not telling me?” Daphne asked, skipping any pleasantries. “Something that I need to know about?”
“Umm.” Justin wasn’t sure what to say. Had Daphne found out about Ethan? But if she had, then she would be yelling at him for not telling her. She wouldn’t be playing coy. “I guess…”
“Well, are you gonna tell me, or do I have to talk it out of you?”
“It’s not really something that I want to tell you over the phone,” Justin answered. Getting yelled at by Daphne once was bad enough. Twice would do him in.
“It wouldn’t by any chance have anything to do with I don’t know…Ethan, would it?”
“Uh.” Justin swallowed hard. “Actually it does have to do with Ethan.”
“I knew it!” Daphne exclaimed into the phone. “Justin Taylor, when are you going to admit that you can’t fool me? I know you well enough to know when there’s been a change in your life.”
“I’m really sorry, Daphne. I should have told you.”
“Yes, you should have.”
“So, how’d you find out?” Justin asked, biting him thumbnail.
“Well, for a guy you’re not seeing, he looked awfully comfortable in your apartment.”
