elyxer. You rock! Without your encouragement I would not be writing. THANKS and I love ya!

Justin tightened the grip on his messenger bag and walked a little faster down Liberty Avenue. He looked behind him, and noticed that Ethan was still following him. The diner was close by, so he quickly ducked inside, and made his way to the back. He heard the bell above the door jingle and knew that he’d been found.
He pushed through the nearest door and leaned against the wall, trying to get his breathing to return to normal. He dropped his bag on the floor and splashed cold water on his face. This was something that he didn’t need to deal with. Not now. He placed his hands on either side of the sink, and closed his eyes, wishing that it would all go away.
The stall door opened behind him and when he opened his eyes, he saw the most beautiful man he’d ever seen reflected in the mirror.
The man nodded in his direction and went about washing his hands. He dried his hands on the paper towels and started messing with his hair. Not that he needed to do anything to it. It already looked near perfect.
Suddenly, Justin had an idea.
“Hey,” he said. “Can I ask you something?”
“Sure,” the man answered, not looking away from the mirror.
“Do you have a boyfriend?”
The man laughed and shook his head. “You’re not from around here, are you?” He asked as he turned his head to look at the man standing next to him.
“Not really,” Justin answered. “So…do you?”
“No, I don’t do boyfriends.”
“Well, can I ask you to make an exception for the next…” Justin looked at his watch, “say, five minutes?”
“Why the fuck would I do that?”
“I have this problem.” Justin leaned sideways against the sink. “And I think that you just might be the answer to it.”
“How the fuck do you figure that?” The man asked as he mimicked Justin’s movements then crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.
“There’s this guy who has been kinda following me around for the past couple weeks. At first, I thought that if I just ignored him he’d go away, but he hasn’t. He wouldn’t stop calling my cell phone, either. Finally, I had to get a new number.”
“And why is he following you?”
“I don’t know,” Justin answered as he rubbed the back of his neck with his left hand. “I went out on one date with him. One! That’s all. And we didn’t even fuck!”
“Remind me not to ever go out on a date with you.” The man smirked. “That is, if I went out on dates.”
“Hey, I am not opposed to fucking on the first date. Hell, I don’t even need a date to fuck someone,” Justin shot back.
“So, what would I have to do with this then?”
“I was wondering if you could come out with me, and tell Ethan that you’re my boyfriend.”
“You’re fucking kidding me, right?”
Justin bit his bottom lip and chuckled. “Please?”
“And what would I get out of this?”
“The extreme satisfaction in knowing that you helped out another human being?”
“Don’t think so. Try again.”
“I’ll blow you,” Justin suggested with a smile.
“You think you’re that good?”
“I know I’m that good.”
“How can I be sure?”
Justin leaned forward, and rested his hands behind the man’s neck. He stood on his tiptoes, and pressed his lips against the stranger’s. His tongue teased across soft lips, asking and receiving access to the cigarette and coffee tasting mouth. He let his tongue explore each and every crevice. Fingers tangled in his hair, and a hand made its way to his ass. It wasn’t long before he could hear the man moaning into his mouth.
“There,” Justin said as he pulled back. “Convinced?”
The man opened his eyes and licked his lips. He caught his breath and replied, “Yeah. I have to say I am.”
“Good.” Justin picked up his bag and situated it over his shoulder. “I’m Justin, by the way.”
“Brian.”
“Nice to meet you,” Justin said as he took Brian’s hand in his and pushed the door open.
Ethan was standing at the counter talking to a woman with a bright red wig. She shook her head and shrugged her shoulders before pinching his cheek and making her way back to the kitchen.
Justin took a deep breath and made his way over to the man.
“Justin!” Ethan exclaimed. “I thought I saw you come in here. Didn’t you hear me calling you?” His smile faltered a little when he saw that Justin wasn’t alone.
“Oh, sorry, Ethan. My mind has been a little preoccupied lately.”
“Who is this?” Ethan asked accusingly.
“This is Brian, my boyfriend,” Justin answered as he wrapped his arm around Brian’s waist.
“Brian Kinney. Nice to meet you, Ian.” Brian plastered a fake smile on his face.
“It’s Ethan,” the man seethed. He looked at Justin and shook his head. “I’ve never seen him around you before. How long have you been seeing him? Were you dating him when you went out with me?”
“No, I only started seeing Brian recently,” Justin continued his story. “It’s still new to us.”
Ethan crossed his arms and eyed the couple in front of him suspiciously. They certainly looked good together, he couldn’t deny that, but he couldn’t remember seeing this Brian Kinney around Justin before. Something just didn’t make sense.
“Well, why didn’t you call? I thought we had a connection. I know we did, I felt it,” Ethan insisted. “I know it couldn’t have been just me.”
“Apparently it was just you.” Brian smirked. “Otherwise, we wouldn’t be here having this conversation, Ian.”
Ethan clenched his fists at his side and forced himself to stay calm. “Justin, please, can we at least talk about this? I just don’t understand.”
“Ethan, there’s nothing to understand. We went out once. That’s all. We have to go now,” Justin said as he took Brian’s hand in his again, and tried to move around Ethan. A hand grabbed his arm, stopping him.
“I’d let him go if I were you,” Brian said as he hovered above the greasy-haired man.
Ethan let go of Justin and stepped to the side. He’d let the blond go now, but this was far from over. He was going to get to the bottom of this.
“Thanks,” Justin said once they were out of earshot.
“No problem,” Brian said as they made their way outside. “You’re gonna have to get in, though.”
“What?” Justin asked.
“Chin rat is still watching us. And this is my Jeep right here.” Brian gestured to the black Jeep Wrangler parked in plain sight of Ethan. He didn’t realize he was still holding Justin’s hand until he had to let go to get his keys out of his pocket. He unlocked the vehicle and made his way to the other side.
“Shit. I’m sorry, Brian,” Justin said as he got in the vehicle.
“Sorry’s bullshit,” Brian answered as he shut the door. He started the Jeep and pulled out into the street.
“I guess it is.” Justin sighed.
“So, now can I ask you something?” Brian asked, stopping at a red light.
“Sure.”
“What in the hell possessed you to go out with him in the first place?”
“I don’t know.” Justin shook his head. “He seemed so normal in Harrisburg.”
“He followed you all the way from fucking Harrisburg?” Brian accelerated when the light turned green.
“No. Thank fuck. I was there visiting my friend, Daphne, and I think he was there for a concert, or something. He plays the violin.”
“I can’t stand violin music. My friend Lindsay tried to drag me to a concert last year at PIFA,” Brian said as he stopped in front of his building. “If you ask me, it sounds like someone strangling a cat.”
“Same here,” Justin agreed. “I only went because Daphne thought we should experience something mature and sophisticated, and I hadn’t seen her in forever.”
“Well, hopefully you learned your lesson, young man.” Brian grinned. He took his keys out of the ignition and opened his door. “Are you ready?”
“Where are we?” Justin asked as he got out of the Jeep. He watched as Brian made his way to the front door.
“My place,” Brian answered as he opened the door to the building. “I believe you owe me a blowjob.”

Date: 2007-06-30 12:20 am (UTC)But don´t let Brian get too much OOC. Just don´t make him too lovey-dovey. There has to be a hard, sarcastic side to him, even to Justin.
