MUSIC EXPERTS! I NEED YOUR HELP!
Aug. 14th, 2009 10:05 pmKevin is leaving us in a week, and we at the bank are doing some special stuff for him. Serious stuff and fun stuff.
I am going to make a CD full of songs about remembering and stuff. Like, I WILL REMEMBER YOU by Sarah McLachlan and THE DANCE by Garth Brooks.
I need some songs like that to put on there. BUT, I don't know music. I need recommendations. Any genre. He likes country and lots of random 'indie-ish' artists that hardly anyone has ever heard of.

Date: 2009-08-15 05:31 pm (UTC)'Fields of Gold' is a great, sad leaving song. It has been covered by numerous artists. Eva Cassidy's version is particularly beautiful.
'California' by The Phantom Planet
'Leaving' On A Jet Plane' by John Denver
'Good Riddance' by Green Day
'500 Miles' by The Proclaimers
'Come Sail Away' by Styx
'Wish You Were Here' by Pink Floyd
'Graduation Song' by Vitamin C
'She's Leaving Home' by The Beatles (I know it says 'She' but it's a great going away song anyway :))
'I'll Be There' by The Escape Club
Well, that's all I can think of at the moment, hope it was of help.
BTW, I just have to say that I SQUEED at your icon, Bronnie Love Forever. Well, I have to say that I am mainly in love with Ronnie, christ :) I even follow him on Twitter (Yeah, I am sad like that, haha!)
